Jermaine Morgan was born and raised in Houston, MS. There he spent the majority of his life playing for his local church and honing his skills as a multi-instrumentalist. After completing college and earning a Bachelor's degree in commercial music, he pursued a full-time career in music. Jermaine took his skills to Atlanta, GA where he was blessed to work and share the stage with some of today's leading Gospel Artists.
Jermaine serves as a minister of music in the greater Atlanta area. He also works as a bass coach helping bassists to grow, and excel in their pursuit of music mastery. Jermaine has worked as music director and bassist for various artists and ministries including the Atlanta megachurch New Birth M.B. Church for a total of 12 years. Jermaine also works mostly remotely as a music producer, songwriter, session musician, speaker and music consultant/coach.
His body of work includes recordings on bass and guitar for an array of Major and Indie artists. His primary genres of focus include Gospel, Christian, Soul, and Jazz styles.
Jermaine's musical works have been featured with artists such as Melvin Crispell, Canton Jones, Isaac Carree, Rudy Currence, Chrisette Michele, films like "My Brother's Keeper" and also TV shows such as "Bluff City Law" and "The Last OG" among many other projects.
