Jay Lewallen is a San Francisco Bay Area based songwriter, guitar player and singer. His songwriting includes a lifetime of musical observations written for his own bands and also for artists like Melvin Seals, long time keyboardist for the Jerry Garcia Band. Performers on his songs include Melvin, Ray White (Frank Zappa) and Mario Cipollina (Huey Lewis and the News).

His current 60’s and 70’s tribute band, Chime Travelers, performs over 150 shows per year in the San Francisco area.
