"I have used many of the different bass bags currently on the market, but it wasn’t until I came across a vintage Reunion Blues bag from the 70’s that I was finally satisfied with the overall protection that my bass had within the confines of a Bass Cover. Reunion Blues has set the standard high for quality, protection, and style with their new model bass bags. As a working musician living in NYC I find that this bag gives me the comfort and reassurance to travel all over the East Coast with my Bass. Repairs and maintenance can be tedious and very expensive. The Reunion Blues bass bag allows me to stick and move about the city without worrying about someone bumping into my bridge or knocking the bass with such force that the sound post falls or worse yet bending or breaking my tuners. I’m super satisfied and happy to be apart of such a class company that has dedicated themselves to The Bottom End."

Bassist, composer, bandleader, and educator Dezron Douglas has established himself as a major force in contemporary creative music. A protégé of the great Jackie McLean, the Downbeat Magazine 2019 Rising Star is known for his work with Pharoah Sanders, Ravi Coltrane, Cyrus Chestnut, David Murray, Louis Hayes, Enrico Rava and also with piano legends George Cables, Eric Reed, Mulgrew Miller and Benny Green. Douglas has recorded on more than 100 albums, contributing to the artistry of numerous bandleaders and maintaining an integral presence in the sounds of his peers, including Keyon Harrold, Jonathan Blake, Melanie Charles, and Makaya McCraven. He is an active music educator, currently on the Jazz Studies faculty at NYU Steinhardt. He has released 6 albums as a lead artist and maintains a variety of projects that he uses as platforms for his compositions. In November of 2020 “Force Majeure” the critically acclaimed collaborative duo record with harpist Brandee Younger was released on the International Anthem record label. “Meditations on Faith” his solo bass improvisation was released in March 2021.
