"I only believe in supporting products and services that I believe in, and Reunion Blues falls into that category for me! When traveling with my guitars, whether it's flying to a gig, hopping on a tour bus, or cramming into a 15-passenger van with our gear, I have peace of mind knowing my gear is safe and well-protected in my Reunion Blues gig bags/cases! Thanks for making great products and standing behind them!!"
Colton Rhody grew up in Smithville, TN and took an interest in music at a very early age. He began playing trumpet in the 5th grade and continued through college where he earned a spot in the Middle Tennessee State University Band of Blue.
Colton’s real passion for music began somewhere in the middle when his parents gifted him a guitar for Christmas. He began taking lessons when he was 13, and by the age of 15 he was playing guitar in church and local bands.
After high school, Colton began driving to Nashville, TN weekly to learn from some of the best guitarists in the music industry. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Music Business from Middle Tennessee State University.
Colton has worked and toured with artists such as Jason Michael Carroll, Dustin Lynch, Bomshel, Madonna Nash, Kristy Lee Cook, Shelby Lee Lowe, Raleigh Keegan, and more. He is currently the musical director and guitarist for country artist Cody Purvis ("Drinkin' Terms"). Colton has been a guitar instructor since 2008 and enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion for music with others. He is currently teaching guitar lessons in the middle Tennessee area, and he posts guitar content regularly on YouTube and Patreon.
