Andres Echeverry is a music director, show arranger and programmer, composer and artist as well as one of the most in demand guitar players in New England area as well as Puerto Rico, his ability to fit almost every genre in contemporary music makes him a great asset for different kinds of artists and ensembles. He is renowned for his passionate and energetic performance full of sensibility, complex rhythmic elements and a fusion of different genres that always inspire the audiences and artists he plays for.
Born in Bogotá on March 29th 1989 is a Colombian professional guitarist. As an active musician for nearly twelve years, he has collaborated with a wide variety of artists in Colombia and USA in addition to the release of his own original music that can be found on any streaming platforms.
After graduating high school he joined Escuela de Música Fernando Sor (Bogotá, COLOMBIA) in 2006 where he was able to attend master classes with guitarists like Frank Gambale, Kiko Loureiro and Vinnie Valentino. Right after his graduation he becomes faculty of the Guitar Department at the age of 20 years old.
Andres has participated in tours, live performances and productions with various Colombian acts including Naela, Julian Caycedo, Todo Niño Paga, The Emergence and Lizje.
In 2010 attends Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA) majoring Contemporary Writing and Production and thus began his international career in 2012. Has participated in numerous single and album recordings for international artists like Nella and Pedro Capó and many more.
In 2019 has been an active recording guitar player for independent label Casita Limón under Sony Music Latin and directed by acclaimed Grammy Award winner producer Javier Limón.
As a performer guitarist played tours in Europe with Louie Bello, Boston country singer and the USA and Latino America with Latin Grammy Award Winners Pedro Capó, Nella who won 2019 Best New Artist Latin Grammy, and Ivy Queen who just received 2023 ICON WOMEN IN MUSIC award by Billboard.
